Tucked into a rolling site in a residential neighborhood, the design incorporates some traditional flourishes and quirky massing which helps it to complement its rural/residential setting. The building accommodates six classrooms (with room for expansion), offices, and an ample gymnasium/worship space. Connected to the vaulted entry is a spacious commons with an adjacent kitchen, making it an ideal space for gathering, a cafeteria or indoor play space. The formerly rural site was not accessible to city water and sewer systems, therefore challenges arose with fire sprinkling and septic systems. A 10,000 gallon reservoir was needed to supply the sprinkler system.
