Good Shepherd Lutheran Church wanted a larger fellowship and narthex space, and they had an unused courtyard. Vanman provided a single solution to multiple challenges. The final plan provides a multi-purpose space in the new narthex, an updated kitchen, and a secured children’s space. The loss of the courtyard was mediated by the creation of a new outdoor patio, visible through the large curtainwall out the new west exit.
