Darchei Noam Synagogue
2950 Joppa Ave, St. Louis Park, MN 55416 | 5,250 Square Feet
Jay Isenberg of Isenberg + Associates partnered with Vanman Architects and Builders on the design & construction of a new synagogue building for Darchei Noam Synagogue. Jay’s experiences with the Jewish community and Vanman’s ability to deliver projects on time and budget resulted in this successful joint venture. The architecture of the synagogue responds to many specific Jewish customs and practices, such as orientation of the Worship space, flexibility of spaces for large gatherings such as Bar Mitzvahs and Rosh Hashanah, a kitchen designed for Kosher practices, and automated lights for Sabbath compliance. The final design is contemporary, clean, and simple with attention to natural daylighting.
